3.07 Information and Data:
A list of supervisory titles and their respective salary ranges shall be appended to the collective bargaining agreement. This is for informational purposes only.
The University shall continue to provide the Union with revisions of University and Human Resource Policies in a timely manner. The Union will be placed on an e-mail list to receive all notices of changes in University policies and the changes in the policies.
3.08 Bulletin Boards:
The University shall provide space on six (6) centrally located bulletin boards: three (3) on the Newark campus, one (1) at the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in Piscataway, one (1) at the Clinical Academic Building in New Brunswick, and one (1) at the Wellness Center in Stratford, for the exclusive use of the Union.
Three (3) additional bulletin boards shall be provided, at a campus or campuses designated by the Union, and at such location within such campus or campuses as mutually agreed upon by the parties, for the non-exclusive use of the Union.
3.09 Union Access to Premises:
Each business agent or representative previously designated to the University by the Union shall be admitted to the premises of the University on Union business. Notice of such visitation rights shall be directed to the designated University official and include the general purpose of each visit. Permission for such visits shall not be unreasonably withheld.
Such Union officials shall have the opportunity to consult with staff before the start of the work shift, during lunch or after completion of a work shift. The University will provide accommodations at its facilities for such meeting, provided space is available, requests are made and approved at least ten (10) working days in advance of the proposed date of use and that liability for the damages, care and maintenance and any costs which are attendant thereto are borne by the Union.
4. PERSONNEL PRACTICES
4.01 Appointment to Position:
Appointment to a position shall be in writing with the date of hire, salary and any differential stated. A job description for the specific position occupied by the newly appointed staff member will be distributed to him/her prior to or at orientation. Other job descriptions defining all positions under this Agreement will be made available for review by an authorized Union representative upon request.
