For the purpose of Article 5.07, Section C, “University Operating Units” are defined as follows:
1. Newark Campus
1. University Hospital
2. N.J. Medical School (including Graduate School of
Biomedical Sciences)
3. N.J. Dental School
4. School of Nursing and SHRP
5. UBHC
6. Central Administration
2. New Brunswick/Piscataway Campus
1. Robert Wood Johnson Medical School (including School of
Nursing and SHRP staff)
2. UBHC
3. Central Administration
3. Stratford/Camden Campus
1. SOM (including School of Nursing and SHRP staff)
2. UBHC
3. Central Administration
Physical Plant employees on the Newark Campus will be considered to be in one Operating Unit (UH and CA).
All accumulated benefits shall be retained by employees who bump and are bumped. Seniority will prevail on recalls made within one (1) year from layoff.
